The contents of Equanimity Tools's offers will draw form the universal wisdom found in tales, stories and accounts of real human lives, originating from and optimized for use in an increasing diversity of cultures

Equanimity Tools will publish its creations through the most extensive, diversified and most user-friendly media available: print, audio/video, film, animation, live facilitation, games, online services, mobile services, toys, events, courses, etc. - especially able instruments for real human interactions between learners, their peers and educators

Following several years of research, development, investments and efforts, I am presently engaged in setting and starting up EQUANIMITY TOOLS - a multimedia company - to create, design, produce and distribute worldwide learning instruments for children and their educators based on universal values and using story-telling, especially real-life experiences of common people in all of their diversity and beauty of cultures.

Equanimity Tools chooses the approach of working for the development of the human mind with love, compassion, enthusiasm and through equanimity - starting with children 3-8 years of age (pre-literacy and literacy) - stimulating them to self-develop and incorporate into their own lives the basic values of our inter-dependency.

Equanimity Tools' mission is to offer young children and their educators enabling tools and effective learning-by-doing opportunities to develop their minds positively for the common good.

Equanimity Tools - a dream still to be materialized - aims to be a content-and-form factory of universal learning tools built on stories; consider, for example, the attached story for children (on compassion and solidarity): with it and based on it, we will produce a combination of the following multimedia/multilingual products:
- an animated 3D-cartoon;
- a printed book for children (on paper and/or carton) just with the story;
- a printed literacy book for children using the story as raw material and content guide;
- printed and online and/or DVD guides for educators with suggestions of group dynamics and individual activities to facilitate these contents for their students to develop and "own" these values in their own lives;
- ditto the one just above for the literacy program;
- printed and online/DVD activities for children to engage in by themselves (individually and collectively); - online/DVD games for children to create their own contents on the same values;
- online and offline networking for educators to share and exchange ideas on their own experiences;
- online networking for children to share and exchange ideas on their experiences and creations;
- practical workshops for educators on the same themes;
- creativity and pedagogic training for educators;
- research on pedagogics stemming from educators' practical work with these media;
- worldwide research projects on new applications and new tools to develop;
- audio/video documentation of all of the above and online/DVD publications of the same materials;
- documentaries and eventual feature films on these experiences;
and as many other media which will be derived from the actual use of these and the human exchanges eventually generated by them.

Equanimity Tools will be the for-profit and sustainable generator of revenues for a non-profit educational organization - the Equanimity Foundation - and the latter will establish and manage working relations with other organizations worldwide (corporations, foundations and other NGOs and governments).

In order for Equanimity Tolls to be soonest on its feet and running, I am now seeking the necessary grounding-capital in order to engage the initial team, produce its first modular prototype, and write a 5-year business plan (first estimate: 60 thousand Euros, six months for delivery).

At 58 years of age, I am sure that this is the best work that I can (and will, somehow) devote the next 10 years of my life to in order to best serve others.

Am keenly seeking like-minded people and organizations to dialogue and work with - and that's why I propose that we pursue this conversation and make it flourish into consequent actions.

Finding a communion of purposes, mission and approach with your own work, I see immense possibilities for developing an eventual partnership between us - hoping to activate thus a synergy that I am sure we all seek!
